Jimmy Suvoy

Eventually I got the courage to a hit a few open mic nights at The Bakerstown Hotel and Elwood's Pub and thanks to the encouragement and support of many fellow musicians and my musical family I moved to Clearwater, FL in 2005 leading to my performing in St. Louis, MO, Charlotte, NC, Savannah, GA, Long Island, NY, on both coasts of FL and of course Western PA.  I have exceeded any expectations I had as a ten year old student but now have learned that anything is possible and will continue to grow musically and as a person thanks to all of the people who have blessed me with their support.

Mom's stack of LP's featured Chuck Berry, Fat's Domino, Elvis Presley, The Platters, The Everly Brothers, and Little Richard with some of her family's traditional Tamburitzan Music.

I started playing the guitar at 10 years old but a passion for basketball and volleyball took up most of my spare time during my teens and eventually led to playing basketball at Point Park University.... GO PIONEERS.

As a single father raising two children I had more time to sit around the fire pit and strum a few songs even remembering the lyrics to a few.

I was born just outside of Pittsburgh, PA to a family of music lovers and musicians.  The home stereo had two stacks of albums... one side reserved for Dad and one for Mom.

Dad's side of the cabinet kept Johnny Cash, George Jones, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette and Jim Reeves with an occasional Polka album thrown in.
